Does what it says!
1 of 1 found this helpful A like for like replacement of a very reliable kitchen appliance. The original was bought in Aug 2009 and a couple of weeks ago the boiler element was noticed as not heating the water as it should to deliver a poached egg: the toaster was still Ok and as good as ever. Seven years of good service on a near daily use basis for toast and maybe two or three days a week with a poached egg added. Good to note in the replacement that the original functions remain intact and the makers have resisted any temptation to 'improve' what is a very good product. Why not five stars? Not used the appliance for anything other than the toast/egg combo and, if the original is any guide, the non-stick coating on the metal pan for the egg really is non-stick i.e it will start to peel off in a matter of weeks no matter how carefully it is cleaned! Otherwise, very happy to recommend; and the Ebay price is little different from that paid in 2009!

Unfamiliar brand and so checked online for any useful information. Apparently, this is the oldest family owned business in Germany and noted for its premium quality metal products. Very satisfactory purchase.

A great buy.
Perfect for the job of replacing the existing but damaged unit. Supplied complete with bulbs/holders and relatively easy to fit and connect - once the faff of unseating the boot panels to gain access to the old unit was done. Very satisfactory.
