Better sound than expected, but headband can be improved.
1 of 1 found this helpful I did not expect the sound quality of these headphones to be very good and, as I planned to use them primarily for listening to podcasts, I wasn't that concerned. I, however, was surprised at the quality and clarity of the sound and, now, I even use the headphones to listen to music while cycling. While not cycling outdoors, one can place the headphones directly over the ears, which adds clarity, volume, and depth to the frequency range. My major complaint (and the reason for only 4 stars) is that the headband feels insecure during movement (even with the rubber sizing bands included) and someone can easily come up from behind, grab the extruding headband, and rip the phones off your head. An improvement, which should not be difficult to incorporate, would be addition of a ratcheted sizing mechanism, similar to what is available on cycling helmets to assure a tight, secure fit.

Cheap quality and price, but actually comfortable.
I've never owned such a cheaply made saddle that was so comfortable. In addition to the flat profile, I believe that the key to its comfort is probably an unintended consequence of its cheap construction -- that is that the polymer shell flexes under load and provides some shock protection. It may not prove to be too durable but, at the price, one can buy several of them.

Wiley X facial cavity seal is thin, flimsy, and does not really seal well.
This replacement facial cavity seal insert for my Wiley X Brick sunglasses is thinner than the original and allows enough air to leak in through the sides to be quite bothersome. It doesn't appear that the seal will be that durable, especially after hours of sweating while cycling. As a hack, it might be possible to purchase a foam seal from a hardware store with which to fashion a better-quality seal. In general, the 7eye (formerly Panoptx) brand makes much better quality sunglasses and seal inserts.
