Pretty crap really.
1 of 4 found this helpful Very awkward to fit. It took me over 2 hours. Very fiddly, & too much plastic on it for the money. Thule really can do a lot better. It should be all aluminium for the price. Then it would be stronger & able to carry more weight. You need to buy the side panels aswell, if your going to use bags, & they're also mostly plastic. Pretty crap really. I swapped mine out for a cheap steel Chinese one that cost less than £10.

Excellent basic design that needs a re-design.
4 of 4 found this helpful Actually, it isn't a "5 star" product in my estimation. The saddle does have some design flaws.
These saddles ARE the solution to numbness or pain in the perineum, & I've been using them for 8 years.
The design is a stroke of genius, BUT....unfortunately, the saddles aren't well made & don't last very long. The manufacturing is way too crude, with the covering very basically stapled to the plastic forming. The staples are the first thing to fail & subsequently the covering fails & the saddle needs replacing.
Excellent basic design that needs a re-design (imo).

Awkward to fit & plastic.
2 of 4 found this helpful Fitting is very awkward & time consuming. You need 4 hands & it still takes over an hour. It's also over-priced for what it is. I can't see it taking many knocks. Lots of plastic.
