Horrible manipulative and lying buyer. Bought the item fully described and very well packaged and tracked. He claimed it was not as described to get a refund and attempted to keep the phone. He then after pressure tried to return the phone but he had taken it apart and tampered with it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS HE IS A BAD SELLER AND WILL POSSIBLY FILE A CASE AGAINST YOU, REGARDLESS OF HOW WELL RECIEVED YOUR ITEM IS. VERY BAD BUYER.

Like "Heartbreaker"...love Pnumonia!
A stunning album that would have thrown Whiskeytown even further into the spotlight had it not been for their premature demise before the albums release. As it is, the album sounds like a band and songwriter on the top of their game and hints at what Ryan Adams’s “Heartbreaker” would become. Easily the most accessible of their releases (which are also worth picking up) with stand out track like “Don't Wanna Know Why”, “Crazy About You”, “Don't Be Sad” and the (very) occasionally still played by Ryan, “Jacksonville Skyline”. In a nutshell; like Ryan Adams?....then buy this album! You won't be dissapointed...unless maybe "Rock N Roll" is your favourite release!

Strangers Almanac
Whilst "Pneumonia" was probably their crowning epitaph, this was the band on the top of their game, wowing whatever crowds were lucky enough to see and hear them. Songs like “Excuse Me While I Break My Own Heart Tonight”, “Dancing With The Women At The Bar” and “16 Days” were big favourites on its release and would have still been favourites had they still been around now! If you like “Cold Roses” and “Heartbreaker”, but possibly especially “Jacksonville City Nights” then you will love and cherish this classic bit of Alt Country!

Genius return!!!
To put it simply...a masterpiece! No where near as intense as the beautifully crafted “A Ghost Is Born” or “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot”, yet there are peaks and troths aplenty on this album, joyous tunes and sad melodies (sometimes interlayered), making it hard to pick out any standout tracks as, to put it simply, they truly are all standout tracks! They could easilly have dissapointed the waiting fans and become shark food for the critics, after sky high expectations from having to follow up these landmark albums, but they seem to have managed it effortlessly and whilst still gaining momentum and moving to new areas! “Walken”, “Hate It Here” and “Impossible Germany” are sure to be fan favourites for a long time and tracks like “Either Way”, “What Light”, “You Are My Face” and “Sky Blue Sky” will draw in and comfort new fans without effort! Songwriter Jeff Tweedy wanted to apparently write and simpler more direct set of songs for this album and whilst the album does have a more relaxed feel to it with songs like “Leave Me (Like You Found Me)” and “Please Be Patient With Me”, make no mistake…this is a band at the absolute peak of creativity and musicianship with an almost gluttonously talented band line up! There isn’t specific time or a place for this album; you can listen to it anytime, anywhere. It’s fun, it’s sad, it rocks, it’s sincere, it’s tongue in cheek! With a band that perhaps is only currently competing with itself (can you think of many albums that can seriously match “A Ghost Is Born” or “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot”?) it would be a hard and bold statement to say “Sky Blue Sky” is a better or worse album than it recent predecessors, but to even have to think hard about that tells you more than words could! Die hard fans will love it, fans of “AM” and “Being There” will feel like there has been a slight return to what they loved and new fans will drawn in wondering how they had never got into this band before!
