This is the reference to the volume 6 (1842-1853) but all 10 volumes are the masterpieces of classical music and every fan will appreciate them.
Every fan of classical music will appreciate 100 masterpieces covering
the years 1685 - 1928. The quality is great as is the value!

Challenging, powerful, magnificent - a brave work
It is difficult to overestimate the importance of this book. It must be one of the masterpieces of the last century. It touches on philosophy, psychology, theology of the modern man and his never ending attempts to escape the burden of life and death. Professor Becker exhibits a remarkable insight into the theories of Freud, Fromm, Kierkegaard, Jung and others.
