Rare piano, Bach, stunningly performed.
Personally I love J.S. Bach, transcriptions for piano & Martin Roscoe's playing. For people who don't like all three of these elements this CD would be near useless. Some of the transcriptions are more heart stoppers than others -
but that's probably just a subjective experience.
I'm very pleased Roscoe is producing this challenging series of Bach transcriptions which is long overdue - all power to his fingers!
I'll certainly buy the Busoni CD when I have absorbed this one.

important for seeing how Greek sculpture developed in its later stages. It was always innovative and th speed of its evoltion seems remarkably rapid.
you can't go wrong with John Broadman. his knowledge is forensically detailed and this series is always generously illustrated.
