Clever but overpriced
This is a very clever item for keeping small things from sliding around in the back of a smart car. It is made of nylon covered foam and there is industrial strength Velcro on one side that adheres to the carpeted floor mat in the back. Works well though the velcro sticks so hard you often lift up the mat when repositioning the "corral." Only gripe is that the item is overpriced for what it is

Be sure to check software compatibility
If you use Logic Pro or other prominent DAWs, this is a handy addition to your composing and mixing tools. Make sure you can use it with whatever software you're familiar with. For instance, the notation software, Finale, doesn't work with this unit. I love the small size and portability.

Great improvement over the older Manfrotto 785b
1 of 1 found this helpful A great improvement on the older Manfrotto 785b model. The swivel mount locks MUCH more securely. The quick release is also much improved over the wiggly older one. I'll wait to review the leg latches (which easily broke on the 785b) but so far, it's all good. This is not a tripod for smooth panning and tilting, but if you just need something to hold the camera still in one position, this is a great deal. Also very lightweight. Only improvement I can suggest is a liquid level indicator (which the 785b DID have).
