It is a can opener

It is a can opener. It opens cans. It works well and is easier to operate than most can openers I have used. I like it better than an electric can opener. When finished, the can and detached lid will have some sharp edges but if you are not smart enough to know to handle these carefully, then you probably should not be operating a can opener anyway. Again, it is a can opener and you use it to open cans. It will not bring an end to the war in Syria, alleviate the resulting refugee crisis, or halt the spread of the Zika virus. It is good for opening cans.
