1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this because i didnt want to splash out 5 times as much on a bob yak. Instructions were fine, as were most of the finishings. One weld - where the rear mud guard goes - was a bit out but was sorted with 5 minutes filing. The wheel needed to be recentred too for the axle to fit evenly in the stays. The real weakness is the locking mech, in which the screws need to be fully depressed in groove for solid lock - it takes a bit of practice. Also the lock mech sits awkwardly with the skewer ends. Change the ends for smaller ones or use a sharp knife to remove some plastic. However, i took this on 300 mile ride around cornwall devon and somerset and had no problem. You will feel the load on climbs but thats trailers in general. It operated well on fast descents too. It also handled miles of bumpy towpaths, and was fine to unfasten and carry for ferries and trains. I would suggest a good bungy to hold the arms against the frame when carrying it. I had mine filled with about 25 kilos and it took it fine. I left the bag open against frame and filled insides with waterproof dry sacks. I would suggest making a lid from tarp that would cover it all as the bag supplied has no zip and is really designed to sit nicely against the frame - there is a space for the flag to fit through. Overall a sturdy and good buy that did the business
