Early VW factory photo book
Well made, interesting book which would make a welcome addition to any Volkswagen nuts collection. Genuine Volkswagen merchandise always has an air of quality about it and this reasonably priced collection of photos from the Volkswagen photo centre, 1948-74, are a little gem. All of the shots have a professional, even artistic look to them, and all are new to me. There is the impression throughout of something special being created out of the devastation.
Lovely little book that chronicles some fascinating aspects of the creation and promotion of the early VW and the people and places concerned. Recommended!
