Should have bought a more expensive printer. The cheap ones always have expensive cartidges, to recoup profit on the back end.

DYLON MACHINE WASH PRE-DYE 600g

Maybe not a miracle worker, but close.

I used it for 2 things separately: a couple of pillow cases; and a couple of under sheets - the former mainly to get some previous Dylon dye out of the pillow cases - and the latter to remove some long term perspiration stains from the undersheets. With the undersheets, it got the stains out almost entirely, although a tear did appear in the flannelette one. However, it was very old, so may have been about to go anyway, and was a fairly small tear on a high wear area, and was easily darned. The other undersheet was a similar age but not flannelette and that was fine. Both were a lot whiter than before, and it was hard to see where any stains had been before, and better than I might have expected. The pillow cases had previously had uneven colouring where some stains had also been, but it pretty much took out all of their colour/previous dye as well as the stains - and left them virtually uniform in colour - not white, exactly, but an off-white/hint of pink. I was worried about them not being absolutely uniformly the same colour but when re-dyed, though, the new dye took evenly all over and they looked very good. So, not a complete miracle worker, but very close. It was well worth using.
