Replacement Makita drill gearbox
Bought this with hesitation to replace the worn/slipping gearbox in my Makita battery drill driver. Watched a 4 minute you tube vid and then tried to take out the old one and fit the new.
Needn't have worried. A VERY simple job that took a first timer like me a mere 5 minutes to do! The drill is like new again!
So much cheaper than buying a new drill!
Pest Expert® Poultry Mite Killer Bombs - Professional Strength (4 x 3.5g)

Didn't work for me
Was impressed with (most of) the write ups about this product and thought finally there had been a breakthrough in red mite control?
The bombs are advertised to treat up to 30 cubic metres each.
My coops are just under 3 cubic metres each.
Used one bomb in each. Masking taped all holes and gaps in doors and windows etc as advised.
Spiders etc scattered as soon as it started smoking. After half an hour I removed tape and opened the doors and windows to find spiders still wandering about and red mites still crawling around. In fact. Left it for several hours and checked again. Mites still crawling about.
So..
Mixed reviews on this product. I'm gonna stick to the DIATOMACEOUS EARTH

Great product but keep checking the bolts which can vibrate loose
Great product. Dug holes for my fence posts with no problems at all as far as the digging was concerned. Easy to start but found if the choke lever was slid right across to the 'off' position the auger would also switch off so had to keep it on 'half choke'(?)
Hit some stony patches. The loose stone made it bounce and kick about a bit but still worked it's way through. One hole was solid stone at about 400mm down but with the 'masonry' type tip it still managed to cut a nice round hole through the stone for my post. Impressed!
One thing to watch out for though are the bolts. The four on the top of the machine vibrated loose a couple of times. Thread locked them now and are fine but really should be a consideration from the manufacturer to do in the factory?
The throttle grip twists around a bit too, no matter how much I tightened the screws in to the plastic. Ideally could do with a threaded screw through the throttle grip in to the steel bar beneath to keep it in place so it doesn't twist about.
