Finally! Cell Coverage.
After 10 years of occasional cell coverage in our home out in the woods, we now have continuous coverage through the Signal Booster - our phones ring, we get texts and can even make a call without going out front to stand in the sweet spot. Our phones report 4 bars inside and drop off to 2 bars while roaming the backyard - but we still have service! All with the simple little mast antenna attached to the amplifier - not the wall-mounted antenna pictured. The hardest part of my installation was building a box, putting a cement block in it, mounting the outdoor Yagi antenna from the top of it and hoisting it all up onto the roof. Due to tree coverage, our other structures and poles all had no or weak signal as determined by Android app OpenSignal. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in our situation: nearest cell tower over 5 miles away and pretty well obscured by intervening forest.

Simple and fairly rugged.
2 of 2 found this helpful All front openings are fairly well sealed against dust and moisture and there's a bare minimum of moving parts. This radio is installed in my off road vehicle which experiences mud, sand and other stuff deadly to radios. I dislike marine face covers to protect the radio and figure that this unit, should it fail, is cheap enough to replace without too much pain. Using a Scoche adapter kit, installation was quick and fairly simple. Biggest advantage for this product is PRICE! It's big bang for very small bucks. 6 months and some hairy conditions later and this thing is still chugging along with an SD card of 1400+ songs in it. Only real gripe is that it forgets that it's in Random play order mode when you shut off and and restart the vehicle. It doesn't lose it's place in the song, it just resumes then plays the next song in line instead of randomizing. There are better sounding units that you can pay more for but it's perfect for my use-case. I recommend it for basic sound in rough conditions.

Very high quality old school style
This design is far superior to the flat style available for less $. It installs super easy and operates with far less finger force or dexterity than required by the flat style. I owned similar latch from late 80's through 2001 and never a problem. So glad this company is making them again. Highly Recommend It.
