I keep coming back to this lipstick.
Lancome LeRouge Absolu lipstick is creamy, long-lasting, and true to color. My favorite all-around, everyday color is "pink organza," a coral, pink color that goes well with fair to medium complexions.

A novelty for original The Avengers' fans
If you are an avid fan of the original British TV series from the 60s, "The Avengers," starring the strong and sexy Diana Rigg as Emma Peel and the debonair and dandy-ish Patrick Macnee as John Steed, you will find this CD a rare and amusing find. Laurie Johnson's distinctive title track and incidental music for the series were all "splendid" as Steed would say. Unfortunately, the version of the main title on this CD is not the original. Still, the variation is a good version in its own right. Despite the color photo of Steed and Emma on the CD's cover, several tracks are from later, far less intriguing "New Avengers" episodes. Additionally, there are some oddball inclusions of non-Avenger music on the CD I could have done without including a track from Dr.Strangelove, and various suites entitled, "First Men in the Moon," "Hedda," and "Captain Kronos." I got the CD for the old Avenger stuff and am relieved I didn't spend a fortune. If only it could have included original soundtracks from the old show!

A Nostalgic Trip Down Memory Lane
"Bewitched" is not Shakespeare, but I am thoroughly enjoying it as a sentimental trip back in time. As a child of the '60s, I loved the simple plot lines, special effects, and appealing lead character. As an adult I watch it through a different lens, and the male chauvinism is atrocious. But if you can see if for what it is, a product of its time, warts and all (did you see my reference to witches?), you can enjoy it as frivolous entertainment. Elizabeth Montgomery is a refreshing delight and her "suburban housewife who happens to be a witch" will stand up for herself when Darren and his boss, Larry, act like imbeciles. I liked knowing that Montgomery was a progressive AIDS activist in real life. Her charm is infectious. Heavyweights like Agnes Moorehead as Samantha's mother, Endora, add a bit of gravitas to the series. Fans know about the lore about the series, such as how Darren was played by two actors after Dick Sargent's back injury prevented him from continuing, and how the meddling nosy neighbor, Mrs. Kravitz, was also played by two actors. This disc includes the first two seasons, and I chose the original black and white version (although there are colorized versions out there). I see "Bewitched" as a product of the times, when a woman's power may have been sublimated but there were stirrings of feminism on the rise, as when Samantha uses her powers of witchcraft despite her husband's attempts at suppressing her. There is a lot of sexism, and I see some embryonic similarities between "Bewitched," with its world of advertising men, and the more current "Mad Men" series. You could see "Bewitched" as a shallow, dated, and ridiculous series or a light, retro palate cleanser that shouldn't be taken too seriously. I choose the latter. Gotta love the sparkly theme song with animated title sequence at the beginning, too! This makes a fun companion series to another deeply flawed but amusing series from the '60s, "I Dream of Jeannie."
