A fabulous little contemporary, watercolour book
Lots of mixed media watercolour illustrations, showing a variety of painting styes that are mainly non traditional using a wide range of materials, suitable for the adventurous beginner and well experienced painter. Brief instructions in use of materials and how painting was achieved, size of finished painting etc. However, its a fun packed little book, big on style. An enjoyable read and full of good ideas.

A fab and interesting techniques book
The book has an appealing neat size, so that it is not over whelming for the beginner, but still a modern, contemporary twist, challenging for an intermediate sewer/embroiderer. Good, clear instructions that use equipment that are readily available. I am using the instructions to embroider the bird design on a cotton skirt.
