Not great for charging
It will not output enough power to fully charge the phone when using it as a GPS, etc. It's very slow for that. Otherwise it works, but so does bluetooth, so I really can't see the need for the MDI cable. It's a shame the charging spec isn't better.

These are great!
1 of 1 found this helpful I installed this in my garage to have easy access to towels when I need them. It's much cheaper in the long run than using Blue towels, though I still like them for some things. I ordered the refills from subscribe and save, although warehouse stores have them too. I liked this unit so much I bought a second one for the garage, just to have closer to my workbench!

Generic
Not sure why the other review said it was OEM - it was not a motorola battery. The ribbon connector was also pointed the wrong direction and I had to replace it (solder) with the one from the original battery. Seems to hold charge, but I'm not happy.
