Game boy color is still great
The Game Boy Color is my favorite of the handhelds. Feels great to hold and the games still look decent after 20 plus years. Also one of the better consoles to mod, put backlit screen and rechargeable battery mods in a GBC and it feels and looks so much nicer. It might be nostalgia but it’s nice to relax and play some simpler games sometimes.

GBA is great…with mods
Love the form factor of the GameBoy Advance, fits better in the hand than the SP but that screen is super hard to see unless you’re in really good light. Screen replacement is not too hard and having a backlit screen makes all the difference in the world. I also like to put in a USB-C rechargeable battery mod as well.
