Typhoon glass work top review

Bright and cheerful in a plain white and cream kitchen. Makes a change from usual kitchen type fruit or vegetable type designsI have three of them one either side of my hob to protect the work surface and one beside the sink to stop spills staining the worktop. Very pleased with themI

Sink protector

It looks smart and doesn’t have a plastic coating like other sink protectors which gets damaged with hot pans. Unfortunately food gets trapped underneath it as it isn’t raised off the sink. Otherwise I would have given it a better rating

All in all a very poor quality, poorly constructed table, which looks so good in the picture.

The already constructed top of the table is stapled together. The slate tiles slide out so we have had to glue them in. The two pole central shaft has a bend in the middle because the thread is squint. The thread which holds the top onto the central shaft wobbles and won’t tighten. The whole thing is unstable. No wonder it was sold for a third of the price. Not even worth that
