Good for soft materials
Well engineered out of basic metal for wood and hard plastics. Exellent for alternative for holesaws in hdpe pipes. More accurate as well. Heavy Nice and sharp.

This is a great addition to a great camera the Nikon D500.
Without a grip I tend to do alot of crop editing because of fast wedding skew portrait shots. This is also a great way to add battery support with the great AA tray. Everything so far is working well. That includes the selector switch and auto focus, shutter. Would recommend not to use heavy lenses without lens mount on tripod. Sturdy enough for smaller lenses. Durable plastic.
