About
A native of Los Angeles, now happily planted in the U.K. with the green green grass, I cant be bothered to divulge my “passions” to strangers via eBay. I miss sushi.

Love This Little Bracelet!
I collect Maneki Neko (Japanese for “Fortune Cat”) and this bracelet is a hit with everyone I’ve given it to. I’ve never seen another bracelet like it anywhere else. I believe the little charm is the part that’s gold-filled, and that the beads might just be costume, but it holds up surprisingly well, doesn’t tarnish or fade. Delicate-looking and understated, but still retains a bit of whimsy. I’ve purchased at least 4 from this seller (one with the flat charm, all of the others with the little bean-like charm, which I prefer of the two) with no hassles, just be prepared to wait for snail-mail from Australia.

Nothing Holographic About It!
Sorry, but the Born Pretty polish range look nothing like the pics! I get a one-dimensional greyish green at best...not even shiny or even two colours much less the multi dimensional hue photos show.

Welcome To The Jungle...
5 of 5 found this helpful You’re in my world now: a place of gentle yet ferocious beasts, slit-pupiled and amber-eyed, purring, swaying, crouching...watching. Breathing the warm scented tendrils of sweetly acrid, brown and red spices, as a mango sun in the copper-glowing, sunset skies falls into the embrace of an indigo-rose dusk.
A totally captivating, spiced-wonder is my Jungle, gentle, yet powerful, like its elephant mascot, wild but comfortable, a golden lioness slumbering in an ochre field of grain, swaying beneath azure autumn skies; the quintessential fall and winter fragrance, proffering the warmth of December spices, or a slice of November sun warming the bricks beside you, as you cradle a steaming cup of spiced chai in your mittened hands, relishing an old paperback you just scored in a dusty little bookstore in the upper east side.
Jungle shines in the summer, warms in the winter, and will give your spirit a boost on London-grey days, keep you grounded in the sun with the juiciness of a bite of the tropics in its mango heart.
Stunning. Rare. Golden. Truly unique, Jungle started to wear me in 1997, and I never looked back. Although I wear many others, this is one of my desert island scents, and I’m warning you, it’ll make you feel fierce, have you reaching for the black stockings in the back of your drawer. Be prepared for compliments from complete strangers as well.
