Shock Alert pools, docks, fountains, locate voltage in water

Shock Alert water-safety device can save a life
I'm a residential and commercial building inspector and I use this device when I inspect public & private pools, spa's and water-features. I also use it along docks and jetty's. The device works and lets you know if there is stray electrical current present in the water but it's essential that you read and follow the manufacturers owners-manual. Also, make sure all 4 screws are present & snug in the battery-compartment cover and that the O-ring has no cuts or damage that could let water into the battery compartment. I've heard of other people having that problem but I have not. Lithium batteries will last longer than alkaline or Ni-mh rechargeables but they all work fine. This particular device is more sensitive to the presence of low-voltage electrical current than most other products I've encountered. Definitely a plus.
Ryobi Expand-It 18 in. Straight Shaft Trimmer Attachment (RY15523A) 40V OR GAS

Ryobi straight-shaft lawn trimmer 'attachment'
This one lasts longer than the curved-shaft trimmer does...so if you want 'longevity' this is the one to buy. I've got 7 acres and 3 batteries that I can swap out on the head-unit so I can easily put 45-60 minutes straight on this attachment and it doesn't over-heat, squeak or vibrate. And...the 2-string head is the only way to go. I'm convinced that the single-string heads put too much stress on all components and cause early failure. I've over-heated and burned-up two of the single-string attachments...so instead of buying another one I went to Ryobi's website and found this 2-string straight-bar 'attachment' and it works great. Mind you...I'm not just whacking-grass... I'm weed-busting to...and some of the big-ones really put a strain on weed-wackers....but this one is holding up great thus far (2 months summertime use). This one's a 'keeper'. Good job Ryobi!
Razer - BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Not a gamer, but....
I like a narrow keyboard (10-key-less) and I like the 'chroma' colors and patterns. I especially like the 'clickey' keys. Feels similar to the old IBM 'Selectrics' I typed on in college. I've tried lots of other keyboards but this one is a 'keeper'. Form-Fit-Function. This one has it all.
