The Reivers and their conflicts on the borders of England and Scotland
An well-told account of a relatively unknown time in our history (c14th-c16th) when the border between England and Scotland was a dangerous place to live by one of the best authors on Scotland, Alistair Moffat. A slightly different take on the period than The Steel Bonnets by George MacDonald Fraser but very readable, so read both is my opinion.

A sun visor extension which is easy to fit and which works a treat.
Unlike some slightly cheaper models held on with elastic bands, this one comes with two sturdy clips which hold it firmly on the sun visor. To use, just flip it down and if the sun is very bright the extra sliding section can be moved along to the required position. Simple but very effective!

A great book if you're interested in the archaeology of the region, with many digs covered in some detail. Not so much if you're looking for a social history of the Fens and the people that live there, past & present. Bit disappointed as I was expecting much more.
