One of Nikon's sharpest lenses, who needs f/2.8
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this rather than the lovely f2/8 version as it's lighter, has as good VR and is significantly cheaper (and lighter).
It's very well built, has good reach on a D7200 but really shines on my D700.
Use higher ISO if you need more light, yes it's a stop slower than the f/2.8 but with modern cameras using a higher ISO and the excellent VR means there are few situations where an amateur would need it's big brother.
