This products saves the day.

I bought a garage door opener with all the bells and whistles. The only thing is it didn't work with older car mirror remotes. I found this product filled the gap that would allow for my older cars to operate my new door. Upon getting it I thought it didn't work as I was just trying to use the included remote to program the door. I then found out the remote is just used to program the car mirror remotes that would then operate the garage door opener. This was the only delay I had using this system. Other than that it works great and performs as it was designed to do so. The control module is plugged into a switched outlet that allows me to cut off the ability for my cars to open my garage at night. This provides me extra security so nobody can just break in my cars and get in my house as I sleep. For those who don't want to use the remotes included in the garage door kit this allows for older cars to control the system with no issues.
