Ultra Pro, Stand Back, a New Standard of Binder Arrives
While other binders from different companies are quick to stick their label over the face of everything and distract from the essential contents of what makes a binder a binder--AKA, the contents--Noble Knight Games' binder is a stand above the rest because it IS its own label. By that I mean that the binder speaks for itself. Never before has a binder looked so impressive and outperformed the level of protection that other binders fail at. The Elder Dragon Hide binder is TOUGH. Padded slightly all around, the binder resists bending better than others while also still feeling sleek and smooth to the touch. You could place all of your cards in this type of binder and toss it around amongst friends like a frisbee, and no card would dare leave it's pocket. If this were a book, you could judge it's cover because it imitates the scales of a dragon and lives up to it's description.
I have never been so satisfied with a binder before in my 15+ years of collecting cards. I took a gamble on this for it's steep price, but the price was worth it. I'd buy 10 of these if I had that kind of money. But this was towards a personal collection--my favorite collection, because nothing else stood up to my expectations about protection AND presentation as this kind of binder.
The Elder Dragon binder does have one slight flaw, though: the sturdiness of the binding make it difficult to stack cards back-to-back inside the folder for a clean presentation. It's SO sturdy in fact, that the binder started to flare outward from filling the case with cards. I was worried that this would damage the cards, as they were no longer resting in a stacked position.
However, after taking a few minutes to bend the binder back and forth, open and close, and giving it some standard wear, this was an easy fix, and once more the cards were able to rest in a stacked position. So least to say, the only con that I could come up with is a fixable one.
Looks great, amazing protection and durability, and feels nice to the touch. Noble Knight Games really outdid themselves with this.
Buy it. It's worth the price.
