Bright powerful beam but not burning
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a really powerful laser for pointing. The beam is truly impressive. I bought it to try and deter pigeons but unfortunately they seem to take no notice at all.
It says it will burn if you focus it but I cannot get it to do that turning the lens/cap does not seem to do anything.
If you want a bright laser this will do fine but there are a lot of other similar offer on Ebay and some are at lower prices for this item

Sturdy Set
I have never used a kit like this before so have no other experience. I read that I needed one to take out part of my dashboard to replace an instrument and this kit provided lots of choices of implement and removed the section with ease and left no scratches or damage. I know they were cheaper kits on ebay but this offered a bigger selection of tools and you never know quite what you might need. All seem pretty sturdy.
It also enabled me to fix a long outstanding niggle on my wife's car which the garage wanted more money than we were prepared to pay for them to fix. I could not have done it without this kit except by risking damage to paint.

OK but no instructions
Bought this as it needed no pump or cylinder and was stated to make a loud sound. I have not used it on the boat yet but a trial indoors showed that without having to blow very hard at all it emits an ear splitting sound so the 115 decibel claim is probably correct. I had an old metal horn but corrosion had affected the reed and it was no longer that loud.
This gadget uses a piece of plastic film as a diaphragm so should be corrosion proof. Other sellers mention the film is replaceable with any film. The technology clearly works and is delightfully simple but without instructions it is not possible to know what sort of film to use for a replacement so I guess it will have to be trial and error - likewise how you dismantle it. Mention of film replacement suggests to me it will be necessary. This item might well merit a 5 star rating if it came with instructions
