Great for the money
1 of 1 found this helpful I didn't want an expensive rig for the car and was worried where to put it. This was perfect as it is tiny, comes with a cigar adapter and is cheap. As a bonus it has 4 vfo's that you can monitor simultaneously.

Probably the best VR180 camera at the moment
Very easy to use without the app, just select stills or video and click. The quality is amazing and produces a really immersive result. The app (which you need) is great but it requires a direct 5GHz WiFi connection to your phone and this is where it gets tricky. Android connects no problem but then determines that you have no internet so drops the connection in favour of another connection. So a little fiddly to get working but when you do it works fantastically.

Amazing quality and value.
I bought this to use as a cheap scanner and it works amazingly well given the price. It's like a newer version of the ever popular UV-5r but has a newer chipset with better receive capability and slightly faster scan speed. The slight downside is that the battery packs are a different shape so not compatible.
