Anyone looking to study mathematics at university should seriously consider purchasing this. Kevin Houston covers essential topics such as how to think logically, various techniques of proof and how to read and write mathematics. It's helped me to understand how to solve problems and not have such a compartmentalised thought process. I would also recommend this to A-Level students who might be sitting the STEP exams. I wish I'd had it then.
