cheap substitute internal drive
Very good value. For computers which are quite old and may also have other faults, this is far cheaper than going to a competent shop for tests.
Can also be used in a £3 USB shell as an external drive, but is then slower

saving energy and watch watching
my host on a recent visit was appalled at me using the Aga for boiling an egg when one of these was available. The energy saving is massive and, for one egg, no need to time it as the softness is controlled by exact volume of water put in. However, if my wife wants an egg too and much harder than I have it, there is some head scratching - durability and effect of hard water remains to be seen

keeping it simple
these double blades are all one needs, no need for addition of fripperies; its nice to still be able to get them when the razor is a decade (or more?) old. I am not convinced they are as sharp as they were, but impossible to compare
Gillette were looking for cost cutting, the soap bar is totally unnecessary
