Solid does the job
As other reviews have mentioned, it's worth keeping something under the log you're splitting so the tip of the wedge doesn't get damaged.
It's great. It's opened up some really gnarly oak logs, with a lot of help from a sledgehammer.
Great piece of kit.
Why buy more expensive?

Great basin mixer
A great looking tap, really good quality. Initially I thought it was too high for a cloakroom basin. But actually it's ideal because you can actually get your hands under it! Fantastic product!

Great replacement
My old bung was about 8 years old, starting leaking and dribbling all over the counter (not a good look). The new one is great, tight fitting. Saved me buying a whole new Aeropress.
