Ok in UK, useless in Europe
I bought this for a trip to France as my long vision means I can’t read the km/h on my speedo. Display is clear and both speed limit and speed are easy to see, however both update slowly when changing.
You can load speed limits and not cameras for a particular country so it can in theory be made legal in France, however speed limits on all major and minor roads are so inaccurate it renders it useless. No such problem in the UK.
I mount it in the centre console in my 3-series BMW by wedging it by the drinks holder, so no fitting required.
Updating the unit can drive you mad and servers were down when I first bought it.
It’s a useful device in the UK but really you’re much better off using Waze, if you can see the tiny speed icons. Waze is far more accurate, much quicker to respond and also free. Needless to say I won’t be using the Snooper on my way home.
