...they sound very good...with minor changes...they sound fantastic...
...I found the speakers to be in excellent condition...a few MINOR repairs were needed to bring the speakers to original condition...HOWEVER...a little additional dampening was necessary to bring the cabinets to perfection...at least for me...I listen to a lot of Jazz and New Age music...this particular design of the cabinet allows a lot of hollow sound from the cabinet...you can get away with this with todays " canned " music...but when you have musicians instead of " loops "...well...it seems somewhat...inefficient...I installed three four inch wide " slats "...one between the speakers and the other two to the " outside " of each speaker ( internally, of course )...on each cabinet...this prevented the air ( being pushed around by the speakers ) from crashing into each other causing a slight aberration and actually re-inforcing the cone pressure making them little more uniform...I then added dampening material to the top of the cabinet...where the tweeter and midrange are located...I also made a dampening cover which was installed over the internal side of the " port "...all of these little changes really smoothed out the response of the drivers and eliminated that hollow sound...this is not the type of review anybody wanted...but...it is my review...these cabinets sound TREMENDOUS now...instead of good...

...BETER THAN I HOPED...
...was working with larger files...I had 8 GB of ram...searched and researched RAM online and decided on this product...ordered...received the next day after it shipped ( super quick )...installed...needed to initiate a Hardware Test...my digital world changed...this upgrade made everything work so much faster...including turning it on and off...WOW...I probably don't make too many good decisions...BUT...this one is the exception...I can't imagine your results being be any different than mine...

...one of a kind processor...
...the entire BBE product line is TOP SHELF...this particular unit has controls for a subwoofer unit as well as controls for supplying the Sonic Maximizer Process to your sound setup...two controls...one system...I find no drawback to this unit and its' function...BUT...two subwoofer outputs ( vs. one ) would be outstanding...
