Learn Python in One Day and Learn It Well (2nd Edition): Python for Beginners ,
19 Sep, 2022
Makes you think you understand. In reality, you will not!
With 4000+ reviews elsewhere, the author has managed some spectacular marketing. After covering well over half the book, it's very poorly explained. The book keeps congratulating you on your progress, but you will realise that you haven't really understood Python at all. Better options are: Very basic book - "Python in easy steps" Simon Monks excellent Programming python 3rd edition Make Sensors (it's amazing, and Arduino/Raspberry focused). More in depth "Head First Programming: A learner's guide to programming using the Python" or even more comprehensive "Python crash course". Of course you will pay more but they are real books! Enjoy Python.
