Works but required fitting
1 of 1 found this helpful The sight works as intended and is well-finished but required over an hour of filing and trial fitting to work on the Henry lever action it was purchased for. This is apparently as designed in order to fit varying rail dimensions but that is not stated until reading the instructions for installing the sight. There are other sights out there of similar quality that don't require this extensive a level of fitting in order to work. You'll probably save money using this one instead but personally I think the extra money is worth not having to do the fitting.

Good tool
Stronger tip than the tool that replaced it. And the cover makes it much easier to carry in a pocket while moving between repair jobs.

Fantastic scope
For the price, this is an outstanding scope. Crystal clear optics and a generous eye box combined with a lower power setting that is perfect for close range and an upper power setting that will still let you reach out. I've settled on this as my go-to scope for most of my rifles.
