Not exactly what we expected
This was ordered for our daughters birthday in 2019. Because the weather was appalling we stored the bars until March/April 2020 (first lockdown) when the weather was good. Upon building the bars (using the Allen key enclosed) we were unnerved by how the bolt holding the top bar secure did not seem to have any hold at all and just seemed to spin freely when any attempt at tightening was made. In fact every time the bars were used the result was that the whole thing had to be tightened again & again.
The end result was the bars were eventually dismantled and scrapped. Such a shame as we have had bars from elsewhere before and they have been fine.

I’ve always bought delonghi products - my previous toaster lasted @10 years and after daily use, gave up the ghost. This one looks fantastic (just ordered kettle to match). Easy to use - love it 💗
