Start you starter and become an expert with this book.
1 of 1 found this helpful I generally prefer hardcover cookbooks but the design of this paperback makes it just as easy to lie flat. I have used several recipes, first the making of the starter. I appreciate the discussion about types and quality of ingredients and tools. The photos are very attractive and helpful to know if my ‘product’ is on the right track. I understand the type size has to be small to fit all the words in but that is my only concern, because the long lines with small type make it a challenge to read. Overall a great beginners book, but also has many creative advanced recipes!

A treasure for knitters and Barbie doll fans
This is the second purchase of this book. The first time was 15 ya when my kid was small and I was looking for ways to engage with her toys. When she lost interest in dolls, I gave it to someone else, but now I find I still love making doll clothes! So I bought another copy. The scenes of Barbie in her knit outfits are set up so cleverly. The instructions are easy to follow. The various projects use a variety of stitch and construction techniques so skills can be honed. I have substituted other yarns, such as left over sock yarns, with excellent results. I found that both the hardcover and paper bound versions are sturdy and easy to hold open if needed. This book makes a great gift for Barbie doll and knitting fans alike.

The story of the production of this globe trotting futurist film is left for another time. Know that this version is choppily edited, but a beautiful story and photography and music.
