This collection of songs highlights the Zombies talents
Just had to buy the album after seeing "The Zombies" perform most of the numbers live on their recent tour.The album spans most of their career together and as solo artists, or in other bands.Colin's gifted voice is a perfect match for all the numbers and the quality of the bands musical talent is what earned them a standing ovation at the end of the concert.All that is reproduced on this album.People i have played this album to, who have never heard "The zombies" , or indeed heard of them at all,agree that it is one of the best albums they have heard in a long time.It's in my collection for good;on my computer and in my i-pod.They have also written some new material that i have heard but is yet to be recorded;unmistakably Zombies and another album to look forward to.

NOT "THE ANIMALS" I KNOW
Bought this album as it contains some tracks that are hard to find;in fact i wanted 8 out of the 14 tracks.This particular album on the Hallmark label has information on the sleeve stating "This album contains tracks that are re-recorded". Recorded by whom is anyones guess;it certainly does not sound like "the animals" or if it was them then they were having a real bad day.Certainly not Eric Burdon.If as i suspect it is not them then i feel that it is misrepresentation to use "The Animals" name on the front cover. Have to say that the person who sold it to me had no idea about it's content and was as misled as i was.I shall avoid this label in future.

I GREW UP IN THE SIXTIES SO VERY FOND OF THE POP MUSIC OF THE TIME.HAD A FEW OF HELENS TRACKS DOTTED AROUND ON VARIOUS COMPILATION C.Ds SO WAS NICE TO CONSOLIDATE THEM AND GAIN A FEW MORE TRACKS.CAPTIVATING VOICE SO NICE TO LISTEN TO.
