Just about better than nothing
1 of 1 found this helpful It's hard to be 'too' critical of a reversing camera and monitor for £12 but having just returned the exact system from another seller (Monitor went blank after the 3rd switch on + water in camera after 2 weeks fitted) I feel I have to warn people about this product.
The monitor has quite a low resolution and if it does work longer than 5 minutes you will see that it is ok in the day, but pretty grainy at night.
Some of the poor quality issues of the monitor could the feed and the camera, as that also has a very low resolution, has standard LEDS (NOT Infrared) and the worst viewing angle of any camera I have ever used (if it has more than 70d of angle i would be surprised as externally fitted up high on a Vivaro I can't see a great deal either side of the middle)
Oh and the camera needs sealing or it probably will leak in water and fog the inside. In the first camera, water was getting past the screws that hold on the bracket, so on this one I have put a couple of blobs of epoxy resin into the holes and screwed down just before It went off (I also put some where the cable goes inside)
So for £12 it does serve a purpose, but if you spend hours routing the cable and mounting the camera and monitor only to have part of it die or go faulty you will be in a never ending cycle of replacing something that wasn't that great in the first place.

Fast and cheap
Great SSD and it doesn't have the dodgy controllers that other -'more well known' manufacturers have. Obviously Ill have to see how it performs 'long term' but I'm happy right now.

Good but not great
1 of 1 found this helpful Internal dimensions don't take into account the fixing posts on each corner and it also has vertical mouldings on the sides (also reducing internal dimensions) that have to be ground off if you want to mount something that is flat. I have posted an internal picture of this box with a home made Vapcap induction heater fitted inside so you can get an idea of it's internals.
