    Mac Pro 2008 - 8 Core 2.8 GHZ with 32G RAM and 250GB SSD Plus 3 - 1TB Drives

Unless youre living in a tiny flat in NYC and are out of space, there is no reason to spend extra $ for the newer model Mac Pros
Truthfully, if you cannot get by on 8 3Ghz cores(upgradeable to 12 3.2 Ghz cores) & 32GBs(upgradeable to 64GBs) of RAM with unlimited videocard options via eBay(with some of the newest, fastest GPU chipsets) in either the music or television/ movie industry, then you are truly doing something wrong. Yea, these cases are big... but unless you are in a 100sq. ft. mini house or enjoy overpaying for the newer, smaller Mac Pros at $4000+... there is no reason to buy the newer machines. I am running OSX El Capitans latest offering and have Sierra ready to install(all that you need is a Bluetooth 4.0/ Wireless AC card that can be had for less than $100). The system has USB 2.0 and Sata II native, though you can buy and install a USB 3/ Sata III card for less than $50 and kill two birds with one stone. Thunderbolt and USB 3.1 cards can also be installed, if needed, too. Along with 12Gb SAS. I work in the music industry and had been using a 4 core 4Ghz i7 with 16GBs of RAM for years and never ran out of speed or had issues running a dozen music related apps. I bougt this system for the ease of use that is associated with Mac products. No longer am I fighting just to get an app running or issues with new or old hardware... I just download, install and it works. With hardware, you just install and most everything just works without the need to download drivers. These systems are easy, safe(no viruses, no mallware or spyware) and can be used direct with your modem, as a router(Macs automatically issue ips to any wired or wireless clients it detects and you can set logins and passwords, along with security features, as easily as any router on the market. Basically, an all-in-one for all of your computing needs. Without the need for any external componenets. Just plug and play, in the easiest sense imaginable. I cannot say enough good things about the Macintosh computing environment. If you are tired of having to fight with your Windows machine everytime you want to use or install hardware or software... the Mac is your savior. The only downfall I see, is that if you are a gamer... not all games are coded for Mac. Though it continues to get better. You will not get a better power per dollar machine, especially if you are looking Microsofts way. There is a reason why almost all industry professionals use, and have for years, Apple computers. They work and are the fastest on the planet, without having to jump through hoops everytime you want to do something.

Ibanez AEG1812II 12-String Fishman Acoustic-Electric Guitar Dark Violin Sunburst
    16 Jan, 2017
Incredible looking, playing and sounding guitar
As with many recording and touring musicians, I got caught up in the name brand rat race. Feeling less superior for not having anything less than a Martin in my hands... though, that changed a few years ago, when I found a new Ibanez electric in a pawn shop with the Ibanez exclusive long sustaining bridge. I played a note or chord and it would ring out for over a minute. Along with one of the best playing necks Ive ever experienced. I will tell any musician out there, the exact same thing. A guitar only sounds as good as the person playing it. It doesnt matter if it is a $50 pawn shop special, or a $10,000 limited run Martin. The most important aspect of any instrument, is its ability to stay in tune and the microphone/s or pickups that are listening. Everything else can be adjusted in post(EQ, compression, tone). Which brings us to this particular guitar. I was looking for a 12 string with that darker violin-like finish. Again, looking at higher dollar brands for no other reason than it had been programmed in me so many years ago. I hadnt a clue that Ibanez made what I was looking for, until coming across it here on eBay. So, I immediately jumped on the chance to give another Ibanez a go. I am so glad I did. As with the electric I so enjoy, this is a dream to play and listen to. It also sustains notes for unimaginable amounts of time. The finish is incredible, looking like a much higher end instrument. The beauty... I cannot tell the difference in sound, between it and a $5000 Martin. Not knowing if I was just awestruck from another beautiful Ibanez, I had others listen and all said the same thing. It looks incredible, sounds good and stays in tune. I would recommend this instrument to any musician I run across. You will not get a better quality to cost ratio then you will with Ibanez. Quality instruments at a local gigging musicians price point.

Yorkville PowerMAX 16 Legacy Series 16-Ch 2150-Watt Stereo Mixer / Amp
    28 Jun, 2021
I have been using the PowerMax 16 or 22 for 30 years. My favorite go to board for easy set up and teardown. Power for the most powerful speakers!
This has been my go to board and Company for 30+ years. Yorkville makes some of the best equipment out there and this board is no exception. Plenty of power for any venue big or small. He’s a set up in having the power amp and board in one unit. Which means easy teardown also. The only thing you ever have to watch and damaging these boards is liquid on top of them. That is the only thing that has ever killed one of my boards. Other than that, they were run forever. Just take good care of them and get a case with wheels. These aren’t overly heavy, but your back will thank you if you get a case with wheels. Definitely can be handled by one person. The effects on board or more than you will ever need. Along with the EQ’s. Has preamp output and inputs, along with effects ins and outs. Also, RCA recording out. Along with two RCA inputs on the last two channels. Perfect for any DJ or touring band. If you can find one, buy them now. It still irritates me that Yorkville stopped making these. I own six of them, five of them being PowerMax 16s and one being a PowerMax 22. I buy them as soon as I see them. Why? Because I’ve never had a better more reliable board. Regardless if I’m using the power or not.
