A good re-read 32+ years later
Good coverage about the U.S Army involved in American Indian conflicts from1865- 1891 . Not just combat/field operations are covered but other variables involved with being in the cavalry, infantry, and even artillery in the American West. Good enough read pre 1990 that I sought it out in 2022. The price + free shipping made this hands down. If you like U.S. or military or even old west history give the book a try.
