Softer pads would be better
VERY HARD pads, mullered the disc, fine on smooth discs probably, not good on used rough discs.

Get a good one, add two new batteries and a good lens, it's a winner.
First I'll explain the scores, overall for my intended use it's GOOD. Picture quality is a combination, low pixel count compared with the latest bodies is LOW, so it has to be below average, but with good glass accurately exposed it's fine for my use.
Features however could be good, IF you need to use them, but too many toy's and it's becomes confusing, so average will do. Size/weight, EXCELLENT, ok it IS heavy, its a Pro body, not a toy, the balance and weight are an advantage, don't want the weight, buy a plastic fantastic. VFM, GOOD, it's not cheap and in good condition still sought after by those who need 8 FPS (sports aren't the only use) and to get a result.
OK, now I'll tell you why I bought one, my D1H and D1x batteries are awful, treat them right and they will do a hundred or so shots, fine if you carry enough spares... So with the D2H I get a better battery 250 plus shots in a smaller lighter package, a higher FPS, more pixels (D1H has less, D1X only has a few more, and a much slower FPS) and more metering tweaks. It meter's with Ai'd MF glass, has more AF points, and handle's nicely too.

It Works.
Actually it works really well, as long as you do the prep first, don't expect it to stick to un-prepped surfaces, it won't.
