OEM Version better than Chinese Knockoff
When I broke my original I tried one of the Chinese replacements. Didn't work worth crap.
The OEM is really easy to attach and remove. It also stays in place. The Chinese one kept falling off.

A little helpful, a lot of frustration
I've used dozens of OEM and aftermarket auto service/shop manuals in 50 years. Everything from a Honda 50 to '62 Chevy to a Lotus and multiple Porsche's. Both printed and computerized
This is not a CD or PDF. It is a "Virtual Machine" which is kind of tricky to use. This is NOT a full GUI (graphic user interface) that you are used to.
This is not a shop manual per se, this is TIS, Technical Information System which is designed for commercial auto repair shops. It is also available online, free but with many popups begging for donations and offers of low-cost, online, live, real, mechanic's assistance.
This one is the most difficult to use. I'd seen it at my friend's foreign car repair shop before I purchased it, but I have trouble navigating it. Pages are not displayed in a linear manner so you need to go back an forth. eg. Remove exhaust heat shield. Go to beginning. Go to Center bearing removal, back to beginning. Go to u-joint removal. Back to beginning.... 8 Steps to remove driveshaft.
There are no electrical diagrams or electrical trouble shooting.
Interior disassembly and repair is really lacking.
That said. It is something. And can help....sometimes.
But I had trouble finding "all" the information for:
1) removing driveshaft to replace bearing and flex disc
2) Remove and replace emergency flasher switch
3) Repair and access front door hinge hold-open device)
4) repair broken/stuck interior storage compartment in dash, storage compartment in arm rest, glove box, cup holder
5) all electrical wiring except some exposed wiring is not covered as far as I can tell
6) maybe some of the above is better covered but I spent about 8 hours in 2 weeks and can't find it
It is better than nothing.
Cheap at that price ;-)

Standard for Givi, but....
...but there is no actual carrying handle. There is only a slot where one can insert the tips of their fingers (about 1.5 inches, 4 cm).
I have the older version of this case and there is a pop-out carrying handle that one can wrap one's fingers and thumb around. I am anticipating that it will be difficult to pick up and hold a loaded case and carry it for more than half a minute without stopping and resting and/or resetting my grip.
There is no other motorcycle luggage that compares with Givi so if you need a case, you might look for a different model. Unfortunately the older model is not available and I am not sure if there is a compatible new Givi that has a suitable handle.
I gave this 3 stars because, although it is good luggage it is difficult to carry. But easy to carry luggage is an important issue. Fortunately, carrying motorcycle luggage is sort of a secondary function. i.e. Attaching to the motorcycle and storing a good amount of gear in a relatively dry environment is Primary. Otherwise it is a 4 star case, which is pretty darn heavy, not that there is any real alternative lightweight construction method and material that wouldn't double the cost.
And boy, if one wants to write a detailed product review, it is difficult to do in this little text box that Ebay provides when one can only see 3 lines of their text at a time. Oh, now I see that one can drag the corner of this window to make it better. Not really obvious.
I don't normally review these things here because what is the point? Thus my facetious, but factual review.
