Great for the woods

I use this when I walk through the woods at night and pass close to a Bear cave. It will not detect at 500 feet as advertised, but 300 feet I can see a squirrel in the tree. I also think its great for detecting heat loss. I used it on my cabin and I could see every area where minimal heat was seeping out. I think it a great deal for the personal use.
