Duracell aaa rechargeable
I decided to go for branded this time and i was gob smacked. They are brilliant and still in my flashgun on first charge. Worth the extra in my view.

This unit is solid and well made. I wanted a back up flash and 2nd unit to allow me to use wireless flash control. It works well in ttl and manual mode. Once you get used to the menu system it is easy switch modes and flash compensation using the dial at the back. One thing I found useful is it remembers the last settings when you power on

Nokia N93 Cell Phone

I use it as a stand alone gps device with the seperate bluetooth reciever. It has a good radio and mp3 player too, I shelved my seperate mp3 ages ago. These features don't interfere with normal phone usage.
The folding screen is handy since it allows me to place the phone on the dash board or desk and use it like a mini pc.
The wireless is handy for internet usage for short periods.
dislikes:
Battery life is not so good, especialy when usung with gps, so I have to keep the power connecter in.
The phone is a little bulky but it is solid and tough.
Screen is too small to be effective for web surfing and the keypad is poor. A larger screen and full qwerty keyboard and built in gps module would have made this mobile unbeatable. The new models do all this in one but the screens are not the folding type, so need to be used hand held or need some caddy in the car.
I decided to buy this mobile because I have been using one for a few years, but mine has had a few bumps and droppages and the power socket had broken. So buying this was to primarily use it to make good my original phone and then keep the second tatty phone as an offline gps gadget in the car. Although one phone with the wired headphones can do it all, placing the phone on the dash when using the gps and headphones for mp3/ recieve calls was too fiddly as the wire would be in the way.
