DVD Quality

Good print quality. Sound is a little weak, but boosted with a sound bar makes it acceptable.

Poor quality transfer of a good film

"Suddenly" is a good movie, but this DVD version by Echo Bridge Entertainment is a very poor quality transfer of a much-used grainy and scratched-up print. Plus, to add to the annoyance, from time-to-time a logo for "Platinum Disc Corporation" (whoever they are) appears at the bottom right of the screen. Tacky. Save your money and get the DVD offered by TCM with both the colorized version and the restored B&W version of the film.
