Moleskine Ruled Reporter Notebook - where have you been all my life?!
This is just right to keep in my purse. The hard cover makes a firm writing surface. The elastic closure serves a double purpose: it keeps the pages undamaged and it makes a perfect pen holder. (I hate having to rummage for a pen and grubby pages get on my nerves.) The price IS high, but as luxuries go, Moleskine is relatively affordable.

Perfect leather hobo purse
The Sak Black Sequoia Leather Hobo is a real bargain. It's roomy enough for everything I need (large wallet, double eye glass case, cell phone, calendar, & either two Kindles in leather covers or a bottle of water, an apple and a sandwich) without being too big. The outside zip pocket holds my keys securely and conveniently along with a small bottle of hand sanitizer. The slip pocket on the other side holds a pocket pack of tissues and a grocery list.
The black leather is sturdy and attractive for everyday use. The brass ornamental charms were a bit too much, but I removed them easily. The strap is long enough for a shoulder bag, but not TOO long. (Also, unlike other The Sak straps, this one is all leather and matches the bag.)
Great purse at a bargain price.

Excellent Floral Pentacle
This is a good solid piece (I wish I could find one in gold!) with nice detail work. It comes on an adjustable knotted cord. I bought two, one to hang from the mirror in my car and another to do something else.
