A "cool" replacement but not so cool.

Bought manufacturer refurbished motherboard to replace dead motherboard in Compaq C762NR. The computer is operating again but generates excessive heat, even though I had carefully followed the instructions given for Arctic Silver Ceramique 2 thermal compound used for the CPU. The thermal pad for GPU was also replaced and the BIOS updated. A regular small fan blowing air on the computer keeps the computer cool and it operates normally. As a permanent solution, I have ordered a Chill pad. The heat issue, I believe, is with design of this particular computer, which caused failure of motherboard, memory card and the Wi-Fi card.

Must have to change battery on waterproof watch with tight fitting back.

I struggled to snap the back on Women's Fossil watch. C-Clamps, freezing the back or squeezing with both thumbs did not work. With this tool I was able get the back in place in minutes. Success however depends on proper use of the watch press. First it is extremely important to select proper size dies. Lower die should be selected to snuggly fit around the crystal and sit on the metal case around the crystal. Upper die exerts pressure on the back and should be sized to cover flat portion of the back. Install the selected dies on the tool. Position the back on the watch, squeeze it with thumb so it stays in place. Place the watch face down on the lower die making sure the die wall is sitting on the metal case. Apply pressure to the watch back by squeezing the tool lever until back snaps in place. This may take a few tries but it worked for me.

Superior Pump 1/3HP Stainless/Iron Ped Pump 92301

Good Buy

Installed it few months ago and heavy rain over several days activated the pump. It is very quiet compared to my last pump installed some 40-years earlier. I can't say whether this pump will last as long but it is well built with lasting materials.
