WORKING MAN A RUSH TRIBUTE
2 of 2 found this helpful Being a big Rush fan, I've looked at this item time and again on e-bay, and have never put a bid in. Common sense got the better of me and I bought it!
It's really quite good! I think that Geddy Lee's voice can never be copied, and as this album implies 'It's a tribute album', and I don't think it is being copied just emulated.
The cover of 'La Villa Strangiato' is particularly good!
All in all a good purchase. It is, after all, mixed by Tery Brown, 'Bruin' an old Rush stalwart.
Buy it, it is worth a shot.

Excellent album, great value for money for this special edition.
2 of 2 found this helpful Counterparts, by Rush, a really good album greatly under rated i feel. This is a full on banging album, with great guitar riffs. my favourite track being 'Cold Fire', the instrumental track 'Leave That Thing Alone' is a great track also. Rush move with the times, and have a very big following. You can catch them on tour next year, 2013.
I bought this actual copy, because I passed on this format when it was in the shops, the gold case was limited, but freely available at the time. This will go with my other copies of the same album, including a Japanese Obi edition.

Rush Different Stages (Live CD 1998)
1 of 1 found this helpful One of many Rush live recordings, a good example though, a must for any Rush fan. This collection encompasses what is great about this band.
The collection is split into 3 cd's.
The first two cd's deal primarily with the Test For Echo, (T4E), tour in 1997 in America and Canada, including 3 tracks from the Counterparts tour of 1994.
The 3rd cd is a concert recorded back here in Blighty, at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1978, round about the 'Farewell To Kings' tour.
There you have it, 3 different tours, 3 'Different Stages'.
If you haven't got it, go out and get it!
