Nice toothbrush but not charging properly

The toothbrush cleans well but the power charge is not very good at all. I bought this toothbrush for my daughter, who has had the same model before, her old one died after a number of years, hence why she wanted the same one again. The first charge was done overnight , for over 22 hours (which was specified) and it's lasted about 3 days. The last one(until the end) used to last 6-8 weeks without charging.
