Skytrak launch monitor
2 of 2 found this helpful I don’t know a whole lot about launch monitors, but I did research for a while before I settled on this one. It seems to work great. When I played my first round, I was like what?!? My hits were not going as far as I thought they should. Then I realized it was calculating more than just my swing. Wind, height, etc was all calculated in, so it is a little more realistic.
Here’s the catch you should think about prior to purchase. The monitor requires a yearly subscription. Look it up first prior to buying. Also, the iPad and Mac is not compatible with all uses. If you want certain programs like E6 or golf2019, you will need a computer.
I started out thinking I could create a super cheap but precise sim with the skytrak, and I came to the realization that it is not as cheap as I had hoped.
In conclusion, if you want accuracy and don’t mind paying out of pocket, this is perfect. If you want cheap and don’t care too much about precision, go with optishot. Optishot is super cheap to build sim. Personally, I want precision and to better my game. If you are the same, go with this. Just be ready to pay. (Unless you only want the range. That comes free)
The extra out of pocket is why I gave this a 4 star. I wish it came with a few courses. If it did, and it was also more compatible with Mac, it would have gotten a 5.

07' G35 is hydraulic clutch
0 of 1 found this helpful If you purchase this kit, you will soon find that it is set up for a non-hydraulic clutch. I would make sure to check whether or not you have a hydraulic clutch before purchasing this item.
I know my was hydraulic, and it cost me a day of waiting and $240 more for the part this did not include. The barring it came with is of no use to a hydraulic clutch.
Instead of just a barring, the hydraulic clutch had a slave cylinder. This has a barring and a spring on it and bolts into the back end of the tranny (clutch plate side). If yours isn't bad, then yours won't have to worry about any of this. Mine was the cause of a noise that it made when my clutch was pressed in.
